About us
An independent publisher in London. We publish our own short list, and we make books for other people who are serious about theirs.
A publishing house is two things at once: judgement about which books deserve to exist, and the craft to make them properly. We do both, for our own list and for other people's.
What we publish
Fiction and narrative non-fiction, chosen one book at a time. Right now that means Dreamscape Code, a novel about a woman who follows her missing husband into the world behind sleep, and Gravity Doesn't Vote, a book about the moment a shared reality gives way, both by Nima Golsharifi.
We take on a book because of what it is, not because of where it came from, and we stay with it from the first structural note to the finished edition.
How we work
Our editors, designers and typesetters work on every title from the first structural pass to the file that goes to the printer. Nothing is farmed out to a template.
It is also why we can offer that work to other people: cover design, editing and publishing support comes out of making our own books, not out of a brochure.
Submissions
We're not open to unsolicited manuscripts yet. When that changes we'll announce it in the news and to the mailing list first. If you want help with a book you intend to publish yourself, that's what our services are for.
Where we are
London, United Kingdom. Everything reaches us at info@tingle.press.
