Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to find, read and buy our books on this website.

Last updated 22 September 2026

Our aim

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We haven't had the site independently audited yet, so we can't claim full conformance.

What you can expect

  • Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the content.
  • Text and buttons meet contrast guidelines against their backgrounds.
  • Pages use proper headings and landmarks, so screen readers can move around them.
  • Text reflows when you zoom to 200% or use a narrow screen, without scrolling sideways.
  • If you've asked your device to reduce motion, the rotating book display on the home page stops moving on its own.

Known limitations

  • Cover images are decorative and are described by the book title beside them. If you find a page where that isn't enough, tell us and we'll fix it.
  • Buying a book takes you to a retailer's website, which follows its own accessibility standards, not ours.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email info@tingle.press. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we'll get the information to you another way while we fix it.
