The 2025 World Fantasy Convention took place from 30 October to 2 November 2025 at the Brighton Metropole, a seafront hotel and one of the largest conference venues in southern England. The event also incorporated FantasyCon, the annual convention of the British Fantasy Society, so there was no separate FantasyCon that year.
The two themes were Lyrical Fantasy and 50 Years of British Fantasy and Horror. Guests included Suniti Namjoshi, the artist Vincent Chong, the publishers Nick Landau and Vivian Cheung, Joanne Harris and Ramsey Campbell.
Both the British Fantasy Awards and the World Fantasy Awards were presented during the weekend, and selected programme items were streamed for online members.
