The World Fantasy Convention is an annual gathering of professionals, collectors and readers interested in fantasy and horror literature and art. It is usually held around Halloween and closes with the World Fantasy Awards banquet.
The 2024 convention ran from 17 to 20 October at the Niagara Falls Convention Center in Niagara Falls, New York. Guests of honour were the author Heather Graham, the editor Scott H. Andrews and the artist Galen Dara, with P. Djèlí Clark as special guest and Michael Swanwick as toastmaster.
Because attendance is weighted towards working writers, editors, agents and artists, World Fantasy has a reputation as one of the more professional gatherings in the fantasy calendar.
Organised by World Fantasy Convention. Tingle Press lists it as an event worth your time and is not the organiser. Check the organiser's website for final details.
