Wigtown Book Festival is held each autumn in Wigtown, Scotland's National Book Town, in Dumfries and Galloway. It is run by the Wigtown Festival Company, a charity that also organises literary events through the year.
The 2025 festival ran from 26 September to 5 October. Its main programme brings authors, poets and thinkers to venues around the small town, alongside a programme for children and families. The town's many second-hand and specialist bookshops are part of the draw.
