The Small Publishers Fair describes itself as London's annual gathering of books by writers, artists, poets, musicians and book designers, together with their publishers. Its 2025 edition took place at Conway Hall on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 October, the venue that has hosted the fair for twenty years.
Exhibitors ranged from artists' book makers and letterpress printers to literary presses such as CB Editions and Dare-Gale Press, and the fair published a list of 137 new titles on sale over the two days. Alongside the tables ran a programme of readings and launches in the Conway Hall Library and Green Room, an exhibition devoted to the artist and publisher Erica Van Horn, and a Friday afternoon event remembering the zine maker Mark Pawson.
The organisers have said the fair will next take place in 2027. Their website also keeps a useful calendar of other UK small-press, zine and artists' book fairs.
