The Sharjah International Book Fair returns to Expo Centre Sharjah from 4 to 15 November 2026. It is organised by the Sharjah Book Authority and is one of the largest public book fairs in the world.
In recent years the fair has opened with the Sharjah Publishers Conference, a professional programme of rights meetings and seminars, followed by twelve days of publishers' stands, author talks, children's events and awards. The 2025 edition drew more than 2,350 exhibitors from 118 countries, according to the organiser.
It is most useful for publishers, agents and translators interested in Arabic-language markets and in partners across the Middle East, Africa and Asia. For readers in the region it is a major annual book festival.
