The Oxford Literary Festival is held each spring in Oxford, with events in University of Oxford colleges, the Sheldonian Theatre and other city-centre venues. Exeter College is the festival's college home.

The 2026 festival ran from Saturday 21 to Sunday 29 March. The programme spanned fiction, crime, history, politics, nature, religion and the arts, with debates, named lectures, dinners, creative writing courses and events for children and young people. The festival also runs a series of talks in September.

It suits readers interested in history, politics and ideas as well as fiction, and writers who want to combine author events with writing workshops in a single visit.
