The London Book Fair moves to ExCeL London in the Royal Docks for 2027, after many years at Olympia. The fair is organised by RX and is the largest spring gathering of the international book trade.
The shape of the fair stays the same: an International Rights Centre where agents and publishers trade rights, exhibition halls covering the breadth of publishing, and a programme of talks on writing, publishing, technology and the business of books. The organiser lists three days, from Tuesday to Thursday, with the halls open from 09:00.
It is most useful for rights teams, agents and publishers, and a good day out for writers and small publishers who want to hear from the industry directly. It is a trade fair, so it is not aimed at general readers.
