The 2026 London Book Fair was the last to be held at Olympia in Kensington before the fair moves to ExCeL London in 2027. It is organised by RX and is the main spring meeting point for the international book trade.
The International Rights Centre was once again at the centre of the fair, with agents and publishers agreeing deals across fiction and non-fiction. Three days of seminars ran alongside, from academic publishing and research to sessions on careers in publishing. RX reported 1,005 exhibitors and more than 33,000 visitors.
The fair is aimed at the trade. Rights staff and agents use it to set up the year's deals, while writers and small publishers can use the seminar programme and the exhibition halls to understand how the business works and who is doing what.
