GLUE is the Institute of Contemporary Arts' annual book fair. The 2026 edition took place on 12 and 13 September and brought together more than 90 publishers for a weekend devoted to independent and artist publishing, presented in partnership with Plaster Magazine.
Entry to the fair was free, with talks and workshops ticketed at £5. The programme included a talk on the future of photobook publishing, a Verso event on its book about the English working class, workshops, book launches and an exhibition by Jesse Glazzard in the Lower Gallery. Exhibitors ranged from art-book publishers and magazines to archives such as the West Asian and North African Women's Art Library.
It is a useful weekend for anyone interested in how small publishers and artist-led networks produce and distribute books.
