The FutureBook conference, run by The Bookseller since 2010, is moving from its usual late-year slot to spring. The 2027 edition, programmed with the London Book Fair, will take place on Monday 15 March 2027 at ExCeL London, the day before the fair opens, and there is no FutureBook conference in 2026.
Described by the organisers as the most international edition yet, it will bring together speakers from the international book, creative, media and commercial industries to discuss the pressures and opportunities facing the trade. The FutureBook Awards follow the conference, with categories including Leader of the Year and Startup of the Year.
The conference is aimed at publishing professionals, from senior leaders to those building new businesses. Tickets are due to go on sale in November 2026 through The Bookseller.
