The Festival du Livre de Paris is organised by Paris Livres Événements, a subsidiary of the Syndicat national de l'édition, the French publishers' association. The 2026 edition ran over three days at the Grand Palais, with travel as its theme and comics as its guest of honour.
The organiser reported 121,000 visitors, nearly half of them under 25, around 450 publishers, 1,800 authors and 3,000 signing sessions across 12 stages. Friday was also a professional day, with a programme of industry talks open to all, covering subjects such as reading time, carbon accounting for book production and book-to-screen pitching.
