The Chiswick Book Festival has announced its 2027 dates: 8 to 13 September. The festival is organised by the parochial church council of St Michael and All Angels, Bedford Park, which hosts it, and is run as a non-profit community event raising money for the church and three charities.
Past editions have mixed well-known authors with local writers. The 2026 festival, its 18th, included Ben Macintyre, Jacqueline Wilson and a Local Author Showcase in which twenty authors had two minutes each to present their books. The festival also runs a Young Poets Competition and a Children's Story Day, the next of which is on 6 March 2027.
The 2027 programme has not yet been published; check the festival website for speakers and tickets.
