Cambridge Literary Festival is a charity that began as Cambridge Wordfest in 2003. It holds a spring festival and, since 2008, a shorter winter festival, with events in venues across the city including the Cambridge Union, colleges and the Central Library.
The 2025 spring festival ran from Wednesday 23 to Sunday 27 April. Events covered fiction, crime, history, memoir and biography, economics, science, nature and the environment, and art, with venues including the Cambridge Union, Newnham College, the Old Divinity School and Cambridge Central Library. Many events are also made available afterwards through the festival's CLF Player.
It suits readers who want a concentrated programme over a long weekend, and writers interested in serious non-fiction and literary fiction.
