Bath Literature Festival is run by Bath Festivals, a charity founded in 1948 that organises music and book festivals in Bath, including a separate children's literature festival in the autumn.
The 2026 festival ran from Saturday 16 to Sunday 24 May. The organisers described a programme of authors, poets, historians and comedians, with panels on current affairs and events ranging from cosy crime to major literary names and romance. Tickets were sold through Bath Box Office.
It suits readers who like a manageable festival in an attractive city, and writers who want to see a range of genres represented in one programme.
